First Webpage on the Internet

Ever imagined what was the first website on the internet? when it was?
Its been 20 years (as on 6th Aug 2011) since the first ever website was hosted and an era of www started. The first ever web page was http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html.  Tim Berners-Lee published the first-ever website at CERN. The web-server was running a computer named NeXT. The page that was hosted on 6th Aug 1991 was later modified, but the initial page is not preserved. But the one as in 1992 can be seen at http://www.w3.org/History/19921103-hypertext/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html. Checkout this link and it will link you to a couple of other webpages that were among the very first pages on the web. So, what are you waiting for? Go check out the beginning of the WWW.
